View to The Skirrid Mountain
View to The Skirrid Mountain
Ysgyryd Fawr is modest in height (486m/1595ft) but is a dramatic sight especially from the north on a morning of shower clouds and the odd shaft of winter sunshine.
The landslip on its western flank is clear to see and adds to the enigmatic presence of this Black Mountains outlier.
Viewed from The vineyard, Walterstone.
