The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Sopley
The church has its origins in the 13th century with periods of rebuilding and additions taking place in the 15th, 19th and 20th centuries. It is built of rubble iron-stone with Binstead stone dressings with some brick used in the rebuilding parts of which have been rendered. The church stands on a slight mound overlooking the River Avon and the village.
