Four Barrows, near Aldbourne
Four Barrows, near Aldbourne
Four Bronze Age round barrows aligned along the ridge of the down. The second from the left shows clearly the damage done by 19th century antiquarians, who dug directly into the tops of the barrows in search of burial goods.
