SN8053 : Afon Tywi/Llyn Brianne south of the Tywi Bridge
near to Bryn Mawr [hill or Mountain], Ceredigion, Great Britain

Afon Tywi/Llyn Brianne south of the Tywi Bridge
Seen from the bridge. In fact, the Tywi arm of the reservoir should extend up to and further north than this. The bright green grassy areas by the river would be submerged if the reservoir was full. A prolonged dry spell up until mid July resulted in considerable depletion of water in the reservoir, yet to be replenished. There is so much grass established below the normal shore line (marked by the long tussocky grass on the right) that it has probably been exposed since before the end of last winter. The river is flowing more gently than two days previously. Link
