TA0884 : Rock stack on the cliff face
taken 6 years ago, near to Lebberston, North Yorkshire, Great Britain

Rock stack on the cliff face
The creamy coloured rock near the top of the cliff here would appear to be of calcareous grit of Jurassic age. This is just to the west side of a fault line which reaches land at this point. In the background is Cayton Bay, formed out of softer glacial deposits between rocky headlands.
