Twin Bridges
Twin Bridges
The green bridge is a footbridge over Burstwick Drain. The concrete structure behind it carries the A1033 Hull to Withernsea road (Hedon Bypass) over this waterway. During the construction of the bypass, Burstwick Drain was diverted slightly (it was given a 'kink') so that the drain didn't 'hit' the new bypass at such an oblique angle.
