SP8141 : Charter train at the end of the line

taken 6 years ago, near to Wolverton, Milton Keynes, Great Britain

Charter train at the end of the line
Charter train at the end of the line
The train is at the end of the track on the alignment of the pre-1881 main line through Wolverton. The main line was diverted eastwards in 1881 to allow expansion of the railway works. The line's use now is to provide access to the present railworks via a curve running SW from this line, there being no direct link from the main line north of the station.
