Old railway embankment and the moon
Old railway embankment and the moon
The trees are growing on the embankment of the Cambridge-Sudbury-Marks Tey-Colchester railway line, which closed in 1967. Pampisford Station was on the other side of the hill, quite near Abington (its name when it opened in 1866). A half moon was bright in a cloudless sky early on a February afternoon.
