taken 6 years ago, near to Babraham, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain

Trackbed of the Cambridge to Colchester railway
The Stour Valley line, which meandered from Cambridge to Marks Tey (and eventually Colchester) via Cavendish, Long Melford and Sudbury, opened in 1865 and closed in 1967. This is the view along the embankment east of the Babraham-Pampisford road (which it crossed on a bridge), looking towards Pampisford, Linton and Bartlow Junction. The sun was low to the south early on a winter afternoon.
