Headstone of Mary Moore
Leeds Parish Church who died aged 80 in 1794.
Mary would have been born in 1714 and so her parents may have lived through the Battle of Briggate when Royalist Leeds came under attack from the Parliamentary Army, Monday 23rd January 1643. LinkExternal link

Briggate is now the main pedestrian shopping area of Leeds.
