Rock slab and ice on Hundreds Road
Rock slab and ice on Hundreds Road
For many old hill roads the passage of time and lack of maintenance has led to them becoming drainage channels for surface water; when a freeze comes this is the result. Interestingly, the adjacent rock slab may well have been smoothed by glacial action in an Ice Age.
