Destroyed salt marsh in the Wash near Sutton Bridge
Cable laying activities over the inter tidal salt marshes have churned up a large swathe of ancient salt marsh. As part of the restoration the creeks are having to be dug out again. The marsh did not go down without a fight and at one point one of the cable laying machines became well and truly stuck in the mud. See LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )
