High Bridge Staffordshire, taken 6 years ago
High Bridge was made at Coalbrookdale works, and was constructed between 1829 and 1832. This single arch over the River Trent has a span of 140 feet with semi-octagonal piers supporting massive caps. On each side of the bridge, behind the abutments is a flight of steps.
