Road from Sluvad descends towards Llandegfedd Reservoir
There are no gradient signs along the steep descent. I was glad I was going this way! Maps shows a single arrow for this gradient. The Ordnance Survey website states that a single arrow is for a gradient of 1 in 7 to 1 in 5. Two arrows are used to indicate a gradient of 1 in 5 or steeper.
That statement includes an overlap - which arrow is used for a gradient of exactly 1 in 5 ?
