Pitlochry Power Station & Dam
Pitlochry Power Station & Dam
The last in the chain of dams and power stations of the Tummel-Garry hydroelectric scheme, Pitlochry is unique among the NoSHEB's large works being sited in a reasonably large town. The station's main function is to regulate water discharged from stations upstream to maintain a constant flow in the River Faskally downstream, power generation at 15MW from two turbines is a bonus.
