Reflections of the Shot Tower
Reflections of the Shot Tower
The distinctive profile of the lead shot tower in a calm river Avon. Originally built in 1968 but now a commercial property, this tower replaced the original invention in Redcliffe. That was built by plumber William Watts in 1782, but despite being the first of its type in the world, the local council still demolished it to widen roads.
