Water issues south of Clipper Headland
Water issues south of Clipper Headland
There is a complex system of water resources in this area. Water from the River Pont to the north has been diverted through a watercourse to feed Whittle Dene Reservoirs. Other streams are channelled below the watercourse as this one, from its source on Butcher Hill, to provide water for farm livestock.
