The Ken Dam on Kendoon Loch
The Ken Dam on Kendoon Loch
At the southern end of the loch is the second of the two dams that created it. Built in the 1930's as part of the Galloway Hydroelectric Scheme. Water from the loch is fed to Kendoon Power station by an open aqueduct to the left of the picture and then a short tunnel.
