Much eroded track
Much eroded track
This track through Glen Bracadale is not much used these days. It starts at Amar, and once served at least two small communities, both long-since depopulated and ruined. More recently, many sheep were kept in the glen, and shepherds would have been up and down here frequently. Today, there are only a few sheep, which are gathered in to the Amar farm when they need attention. Further up the glen, the track gradually becomes less distinct, and fades out altogether at the shore of Loch Duagrich in NG3939.
