TR2049 : Barham ford

taken 12 years ago, near to Derringstone, Kent, England

Barham ford
Barham ford
The road sign warns of a ford ahead but on this occasion the Nailbourne/Nail Bourne would have been frozen over if it had not been dried up. As seen from Railway Hill with The Causeway (to the left) and South Barham Road (to the right) and straight on is Derringstone Street. The bridge is for pedestrians to cross the ford without getting their feet wet.
