TL4409 : Town Hall from the Water Gardens

taken 47 years ago, near to Harlow, Essex, Great Britain

Town Hall from the Water Gardens
Town Hall from the Water Gardens
The original town hall, designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd who planned the new town development in 1947.
I believe this building was demolished in the early 21st century. In 1971 it was visible from just about everywhere in the new town and marked the position of The High.
