Merchants' Warehouse, Castle Street, Manchester
Built in 1825, making it the oldest surviving warehouse building of the Bridgewater Canal basin. In conversion to offices in 1995-97 (by Ian Simpson Architects), the loading slots were preserved, and shipping holes remain on the other side (SJ8297 : Viaducts, Castle Street, Manchester (3)). Grade II listed.
