The old London Road, Mickleham
The old London Road, Mickleham
Looking south from the north end of the village. Behind the picturesque old redbrick wall stands Old House, dating from the mid-17th century. The stumpy spire of the parish church can be seen in the distance.

This was, I believe, the main London-Dorking road until the mid-1930's, when the present dual-carriageway by-pass replaced it..
