St James church, Kidbrooke
This view from the end of Brook Lane shows the church's copper roof although the trees obscure the view except in winter.

The church was built c.1866 to the designs of architects Newman and Billing. It was badly damaged in the Second World War, and rebuilt by Holliday and Greenwood in 1955. Now listed grade 2 (List Entry Number 1358962).
