3 km from West Kirby, Wirral, Great Britain

Hilbre Island
Hilbre Island
Hilbre Island is in the estuary of the river Dee between the Wirral peninsula and the North Wales coast in the north west of England. At low tide it's possible to walk out to the island from the Wirral side. The people in the photo have walked out to Little Eye (a smaller island further up the estuary) and are heading across to the main island from Little Hilbre
