Wind Turbine & Anemometry Mast, Worth's Farm
Wind Turbine & Anemometry Mast, Worth's Farm
This turbine is on Worth's Farm land, but viewed from an adjacent square due to the difficulty of gaining closer public access. Also shown to the right is the anemometry mast that is used to measure wind speed & direction in order to control turbine operations for this and adjacent units in the eight-turbine Deeping St Nicholas wind farm. The long winter shadow is from a nearby Vine House Farm turbine.
