Bennerley Viaduct as seen from Newtons Lane. This wrought iron viaduct is 1452 feet long and stands 60 feet above the Erewash River. The viaduct was built between May 1876 and November 1877 and forms part of the Great Northern Railway Derbyshire Extension.
