Since Mick Garratt was here in June 2008 the cairn has changed little, but the wooden post sticking out of the top has changed its jaunty angle from a rightward lean to a leftward one. The view extends across old lead mining ground to the distant outlines of Lovely Seat [on horizon behind post] and Great Shunner Fell to the right.
