Railway line near Dorrington
Railway line near Dorrington
This is part of the Shrewsbury to Hereford railway line, opened in 1852, and here looking in the Shrewsbury direction. On the right is a plant hire depot, and next to it, but out of sight in this view, is a small oil depot. Both these depots are built on the land which was once the site of Dorrington station's goods yard. The station itself disappeared decades ago.
