Church Street in Old Glossop
Quiet and characterful corner of the town which consists of mainly 17th century gritstone cottages. The Industrial Revolution bypassed Old Glossop while to the south west a new conurbation known as 'Howard Town' was built up to serve the expanding cotton industry.
