On the right, a Cardiff Bus bus arrives at the bus station at the end of route 30 from Cardiff Bus Station. The scheduled 50 minute journey is via Rumney, St Mellons and Castleton. The route is operated jointly by Newport Bus and Cardiff Bus.
There is another service, X30, between the two bus stations using a route via the M4 motorway, with a scheduled journey time of 30 minutes. Route X30 is operated by Newport Bus, one of whose dark green and white buses is parked on the left.
In the background are the 70 metre high supporting masts of Newport City Bridge.
