The Barge Arm, Gloucester Docks
The Barge Arm, Gloucester Docks
The "Barge Arm" was an early development for use of canal barges and narrowboats to keep them out of way of big ships using the main basin.

The building behind, and to the left, is Llanthony Warehouse. Built in 1873, this was the last, and biggest, warehouse built at the docks. It now houses the National Waterways Museum.
