Gun Garden, Lewes Castle
Named after the cannon in the foreground which was captured from the Russians during the Crimean War. The town applied to the government for it having been home to 300 Russian prisoners of war during the conflict. This is also the starting point for the journey to the top of Lewes Castle keep.
