Through the works [5]
The site of the former Ettington Station on the long dismantled Stratford and Midland Junction Railway is shown on the OS 1:25,000 map as 'works' and is a mixture of dwellings and farm and other works buildings. Here, from the footpath, the retaining wall of the bridge that carried the original A429 road over the railway can be seen to the right of the blue articulated lorry. There is a great amount of detail and a large number of photographs about of the former railway at: Link
