St Christopher's, Walworth - arches
This view from Huntsman Street of a church building with eclectic architecture shows the gated rear entrance to the first-floor church, and another entrance alongside (perhaps to a staff flat?)
The Pembroke College Mission
One of several churches founded in the late 19th century "settlement movement", the site on Tatum Street was established by Pembroke College, Cambridge. The buildings, designed by architect Edward S Prior, and completed by Herbert Passmore, incorporate St Christopher's Anglican church as well as a community hall and house. They date from 1891-1908 and were refurbished c.2008. The buildings as a group are listed grade II (List Entry Number 1376551) as being "a rare and nearly intact survival of an Oxbridge mission building".
