SK1695 : Slippery Stones bridge, Upper Derwent Valley
near to Mosley Bank [other Features], Derbyshire, Great Britain

Slippery Stones bridge, Upper Derwent Valley
This old bridge was rebuilt here after removal from Derwent village when it was flooded to create the Ladybower Reservoir.
The bridge is the most northerly feature and turning point on the round valley cycle ride, or walk, starting from the Fairholmes Visitor Centre at the head of Ladybower. More adventurous mountain bikers and walkers will go further.
