Reconductoring, on the Beauly-Blackhillock Line
Reconductoring, on the Beauly-Blackhillock Line
The 275kV Beauly-Blackhillock electricity transmission line runs from near Beauly (NH5044) to near Keith (NJ4348). It is being refurbished, with the conductors (wires) replaced.
This is tower 13. There are a number of large cable drums on the site, as well as what looks like some sort of winch on the right of the photo.

The sheep don't seem bothered by the work.
