taken 17 years ago, 3 km from Barbon, Cumbria, England

From Brownthwaite
From Brownthwaite
The modest Brownthwaite is a small fell but a great view point in all directions overlooking the Lune Valley, Bowland, Morecambe Bay and The lakes. Looking north east here towards over Barbon Low fell towards the Dales. The two shadows are me and the Trig Pillar.
