NS3578 : Crag beside Spottie's Linn
near to Cardross, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

Crag beside Spottie's Linn
The crag appears on the left in another view – NS3578 : Crag beside Spottie's Linn – but is better shown in the present photograph. It has a strangely fractured surface, almost as though it is an artificial construction like a dry-stone wall. However, it is a natural feature; the same kind of fracturing can be seen in the bed of the Kilmahew Burn (just behind the photographer's position) at the small waterfalls called NS3578 : Spottie's Linn (see that item for more information).
