Sleddale Beck and Todcrags
Sleddale Beck and Todcrags
Sleddale Beck is born in the moorland wilderness of Shap Fells. Below Todcrags a hard band of volcanic rock causes the beck to make a right angle turn which marks the start of a lovely series of cascades down into Wet Sleddale. A lovely oasis of typically Lakeland character, well off the beaten track (and all the better for it).
