Little St Mary's Parish Centre
The Tardis-like Parish Centre (much larger inside than it appears without) provides a focus for the social life of the congregation, a resource for partner groups and organizations with whom the church works in the local community, and a modern and attractive venue available for public hire. It is equipped with a fitted kitchen and up-to-date audiovisual equipment, and can accommodate up to 100 people. The Centre was dedicated by the Bishop of Ely in June 2011.
The design, of lightweight construction with horizontal oak board cladding and a striking conical zinc roof, all by architects Cowper Griffith of Whittlesford, won Cambridge City Council's prestigious David Unwin award for 2012.
