Mudflats by Wigtown
Recent warm weather and low tides has made it possible to get out here on to the flats north of Wigtown without getting too wet. It still requires a lot of hop, skip and jumping to walk across this boggy marsh area which is criss-crossed with small burns, tributaries and drainage channels. A patient, take your time and watch where you're going type of walk. The view here is south with the Crook of Baldoon right of picture and Jultock Point to the left.
