The Ashridge National Trust Estate
The Ashridge Estate covers a wide area of the Chiltern Hills on the Hertfordshire Buckinghamshire border, which provides open access to large woods and open grassland. There are many footpaths and bridleways - including part of the Ridgeway – and wonderful opportunities to observe wild life – including deer.
The Estate Office, Visitor Centre and Café are close to the Bridgewater Monument on Moneybury Hill, above the village of Aldbury.
