Two men in a cradle
Two men in a cradle
Spotted while I was sitting in a park eating my lunch, these two workmen were being moved around the outside of the Empire Square tower - presumably for window cleaning or some other form of maintenance.

See TQ3279 : Tabard Gardens, north-west end for context.
Empire Square
Empire Square lies in the triangle between Long Lane, Tabard Street and Southall Place. It was redeveloped from 2003-2007 with 554 residential units, a supermarket, retail, offices, restaurants/café, gymnasium and a doctors surgery. It has no off-street car parking in order to encourage the use of sustainable transport modes.
