Charlecote Mill - the stone floor

The western half of the mill with two underdrift stones driven by an 18' undershot waterwheel. The stones on the left are hard at work. The crown wheel in the centre drives the sack hoist and a further disconnected layshaft that probably no longer drives anything. The ropes constitute the guarding and this mill is refreshingly free from excessive guarding.
