St.Andrews Church, Kingsbury
The current Anglican church within the parish. This church was erected here in 1933 when the needs of the population of the local area had outgrown the existing church, a 12/13th century building. The current church actually dates to 1847 but originally stood in Marylebone - presumably it was under-utilised at its original location and was demolished and rebuilt here. The increase in size may be gauged by looking at John Salmon's photo of the old church - TQ2086 : St Andrew Old Church, Kingsbury, London NW9 - which has been retained and is now a grade one listed building looked after by the Churches Conservation Trust.
