"Hello!"
"Hello!"
At the British Wildlife Centre, Newchapel, Surrey, the water vole enclosure has recently been refurbished. Terracotta pipes have replaced the previous blue plastic pipes, giving a more natural appearance. In the wild, water voles would make use of such pipes, as well as burrowing into the soil of river banks. This little chap looks towards the photographer, to see whether it is safe to come out.
