Hill Cut in Two, Godlingston Heath
Hill Cut in Two, Godlingston Heath
Known locally as "Hill Cut in Two", this heathland knoll is prominent from the Dean Hill layby. It is only when you get there you realise it is cut in two - from 19th century mineral workings, which cut a narrow defile through the hill.
