Kyd Brook, Hawkwood Estate
Kyd Brook, Hawkwood Estate
Although surrounded by suburbia with Petts Wood to the south, and Chislehurst to the north and west, the National Trust owned Hawkwood Estate is like real countryside, with hedges, streams and woods. This is the Kyd Brook looking upstream. The Kyd Brook is a tributary of the Quaggy River, which in turn is a tributary of the River Ravensbourne which flows into the Thames at Deptford.
