Petts Wood seen from the London LOOP
Petts Wood seen from the London LOOP
This view is from near where the London LOOP crosses the railway to leave the Hawkwood Estate. Although surrounded by suburbia with Petts Wood to the south, and Chislehurst to the north and west, the National Trust owned Hawkwood Estate is like real countryside, with hedges, streams and woods. This looks across the Hawkwood Estate to the extensive woodland called Petts Wood from which the suburb gets its name.
